Kelly Huang is a teaching artist and illustrator originating from China and is now based in New York. Receiving her BFA from Pratt Institute, and EdM from Teachers College, Columbia University, Kelly focuses on sustainable development and younger generations, as well as she aspires to create artwork that connects people all over the world. With a style that evokes emotion through colors, she states, “Art is an action coming with an intriguing process that allows you to go wild sometimes and helps you explore yourself a little bit better. It evolves a conversation that reflects everything visually through the surface of elements while later on getting you to your soul.” Kelly Huang advocates that art is one of the best ways to empower people, and serves as a healing mechanism when people are going through difficult times.
